Another One Bites The Dust...

... no, I'm not talking about a Queen song... I'm talking about another local establishment biting the bank dust of what is Morristown and closing it's doors!

La Rue Chaude, one of my favorite stores, by far, is closing its doors. I received an email yesterday announcing the sad news along with a 30% off certificate that I may use to purchase sale and non-sale items.

What in the world is happening to Morristown? What is the local government doing? Things MUST change or we will have NO night life, NO shopping, and NO great restaurants.

I think that Morristown and its government should take a drive into Madison, Montclair, even the downtown of South Orange is great! They have a ton of restaurant choices, great bars, and adorable little boutiques that the residents can frequent...

C'mon Mo-Town, wake up, smell the coffee before it's too late... Who knows Greenberry's may be closing it's doors too and there will be no coffee to smell...

With the Green having been taken over by banks, banks, and more banks, South Street is Mo'town's last hope. Let's hope the landlord finds another retail store to move in.
